An InDiGO experience integrates Nature, Academics, The Arts, and SELf Discovery.
We use InDiGO's framework to design UNIFYING Experiences that meet multiple standards across subjects simultaneously.
Designing learning with this framework helps educators access and develop their own inner power to teach kids, not subjects.

SELf-Discovery adds "authentic self-expression" to the Social and Emotional Learning core competencies.
For example, using this framework, we designed a 6th grade integrative "Math" lesson that teaches students about
BPM, decimals, and percent of change, by integrating Dance, Music, The Scientific Method, Videography, and more!

What?
InDiGO experiences are guided SELf-discovery activities, projects, programs, and trips
that develop participants' connection to Nature's wonders within and all around them.
Why?
Activate our natural love of learning, power of healing, and potential to lead and inspire.
Act upon the evidence that getting outdoors improves our health, healing, concentration, and mood.[*][*]
How?
By integrating Outdoor Learning, Academics, The Arts, and SELf Discovery.
An InDiGO experience includes the steps outlined below.
Who? Where? When?
Youth, adults, educators, caregivers, schools, camps, community organizations, and outdoor centers.
Outdoors, indoors, and online. During and OST (out-of-school-time).
How much $?
We are committed to assisting with transportation and providing free, low-cost, and sliding-scale programs
as we collaborate to meet the needs, challenges, and goals of each participant and group.

An InDiGO experience includes the following steps:
#1: Prepare
We design an integrative project together according to the goals of each group. We gather the essential resources and skills in a preparation workshop when we explore how the upcoming adventure is meaningful to participants.
#2: Adventure
We journey into the wonders of Nature on our planned adventure.
Together, we creatively document the experience as a part of our ongoing integrative project.
#3: Process
We reflect and discuss. We discover questions, answers, natural connections and motivations to learn more. We creatively express our learning, healing and growth in a processing workshop.
#4: Project
Each participant or group creates an integrative project that expresses their discoveries. InDiGO designs projects by goals and grade level that activate students' love of learning and capacity to shine.
#5: Present
We host an event when participants present their creative projects. We then make projects and presentations available to the public online so youth and educators can continue to shine and inspire others.
